The competition Entrepreneur Of The Year®, that selects the most successful innovators in the area of the business was established by the company Ernst & Young in the United States of America in 1986. Since its inception, this competition has spread to numerous countries throughout the world and at present it is regularly announced in 39 countries. Its aim is to present to public the excellent examples in the field of entrepreneurial activity that can be role models for young beginning entrepreneurs.  Entrepreneur Of The Year®  is  outlined as an international competition and therefore the criteria according to which the individual participants are evaluated are comparable in each country. In  2006 the company Ernst & Young announces already the seventh year of this competition in the Czech Republic.
